Telling the beautiful story of your family

Inspired by the simple sweetness of the everyday, I combine family lifestyle, warm documentary, and a tiny pinch of classic, gentle posing to tell the story of who you all are - right now - with a beautiful light and aesthetic composition.

The best family photo is not the one where everyone looks at me and says "Cheese!". In fact, the perfect photo is an imperfect one - where everyone is looking at each other, laughing goofily, hairs blown in the wind. The perfect photo is the one with MUM in it instead of trying to capture a smile on her phone. The perfect photo tells the loving story of your connection and love.

I only photograph families outdoors or at the comfort of their own homes - the place that holds a special family meaning. These are the most natural settings for your story. If it rains on the day of the session, I make sure we re-schedule it to your earliest convenience. However, if it's just a light drizzle, I am happy to proceed and use the weather to our advantage (bring those wellies for some puddle fun!)

To help you relax and feel at ease, and document your family in the most candid way, I let my sessions take a natural, organic flow, always being led by the youngest people I'm photographing. Being a mother and a former nursery teacher, too, I know how important it is to be patient, inviting and calm as a toddler slowly comes out from their hiding spot (usually, behind daddy). Here and there, I will offer some gentle posing to make sure everyone is in the best light, but I will also take steps back and observe your interactions, capturing memories as they unfold.
